The Office of Resource Officers of Educational Institutions continues to educate their trainers in the field of Human Rights Education. With the support of Council of Europe Office in Georgia, the trainings were carried out in 2 stages on October 15-17 and October 18-20. 28 Resource officers, representing different regions of Georgia, completed the training course for the trainers of Human Rights Education.
Within the framework of the above-stated trainings, the resource officers were introduced with the theoretical, as well as practical aspects, on topics such as: psychology of discriminatory behaviour: features of the relationship with the child and non-discriminatory communication; hate speech; the line between freedom of expression and hate speech; the Council of Europe tools for Human Rights Education and more.
This activity is implemented in the framework of the Project “Promoting the Effective Protection of Equality and Non-Discrimination in Georgia.” The Project is funded through the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2020-2023.
