Workshop on ‘Implementing European and International standards on media and information literacy in various domestic institutions’

On 8 September 2022, the Workshop on ‘Implementing European and International standards on media and information literacy in various domestic institutions’ was organised.

The Workshop aimed at supporting MIL stakeholders in their efforts to incorporate good practices and implement MIL standards into their respective institutional strategies, workplans and solutions. In doing so, the Workshop addressed the recommendations as set out in the Council of Europe Study (2021) on good practices in selected member States of the Council of Europe and their relevance to the context of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In an effort to strengthen multi-stakeholder communication, coordination and collaboration on MIL-related matters, the workshop provided with guiding tools intended to promote sole and joint action towards fulfilment of Council of Europe standards.

The workshop was organised under the project Media and information literacy: for human rights and more democracy, within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018-2021. Action Plan level funding is provided by Luxembourg and Norway.
