Training of Trainers organised within the framework of the project:

From 12 to 14 November 2021 a three-day training (ToT) was organised within the framework of the Council of Europe Project: "Support to the Integral and Inclusive Election Process in Bosnia and Herzegovina” implemented by the Council of Europe Office in Sarajevo. Representatives from the Municipal Election Committees (MECs) from across Bosnia-Herzegovina recently participated in the first training session out of a series of six, which took place in Sarajevo with a minimum participation of two members of the MECs from the Sarajevo-region. The training program provides a comprehensive curriculum on training and education of the Election Administration. The curriculum has been developed in line with relevant best practice and international standards in cooperation with experts of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia-Herzegovina. A total of 40 representatives participated at the training counting members of MECs from 20 municipalities of the Sarajevo-region, members of the CEC and members of the office of the Prosecutor from the District Brčko. The main purposes of the training program are to strengthen the capacity of the Election Administration on all levels, administrate elections in line with international standards and increase efficiency and transparency through ToT education and certification based on best practice and international standards.
