For the purpose of developing a strategic paper aimed at improving the organisational structure and functioning of the Media Literacy Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a focus group was organised on 21 September 2022. The focus group was attended by various members of the Media Literacy Network, including representatives of OSCE, Media Centar Sarajevo, Raskrinkavanje and the academia.

Participants discussed the structure and organisation of the Media and Information Literacy Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina, financing modalities and activities, and Network’s short-, medium- and long-term goals. The set of recommendations for future strategic development of the Network will be presented at the Media Literacy Week, that will be marked in Bosnia and Herzegovina too during 24-28 October 2022.

The focus group was organised under the project Media and information literacy: for human rights and more democracy, within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018-2021. Action Plan level funding is provided by Luxembourg and Norway.
