The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) organised a workshop in Modriča on May 22, 2026 to assist new pilot courts participating in the action Strengthening the Efficiency and Quality of Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiHSEJ) in introducing internal satisfaction surveys for judicial and non-judicial staff.
Building on the experience gained from the first five pilot courts, representatives of courts from Mostar, Žepče and Modriča explored practical approaches to designing and implementing staff satisfaction surveys aimed at strengthening internal communication and improving work organisation within courts.
The workshop combined presentations and discussions on the design and implementation of internal satisfaction surveys, including questionnaire structure, data collection tools, and practical aspects of survey administration.
By assisting the courts in conducting internal satisfaction surveys, the BIHSEJ initiative supports court management in identifying areas for improvement in internal communication and work organisation, thereby contributing to the provision of better services to litigants.
This activity was organised under the CEPEJ action “Strengthening the Efficiency and Quality of Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiHSEJ)”, as part of the joint European Union and Council of Europe’s programme "Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Türkiye".
