The Council of Europe together with the Montenegrian Ministry of Human Rights and Minority Rights will organise a workshop on combating discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity on 9 – 10 June in Podgorica. The workshop aimed at Montenegrian authorities and civil society actors will focus on the international standards and legislative options for providing legal protection to same-sex couples. The workshop is organised in the framework of the “Support to the National Institutions in Preventing Discrimination in Montenegro” (PREDIM), which is a joint programme between the Council of Europe and The European Union.
