Back Judicial Servant of Human Rights Promotion Unit Were Trained on European Convention on Human Rights

The Council of Europe has organised a five-day training for the judicial servants of the Court of Cassation and the Human Rights Promotion Unit that was established in the Judicial Department with the support of the Council of Europe to provide judges of the Court of Cassation with timely and up-to-date information on judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. The creation of the Human Rights Promotion Unit aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Court of Cassation to ensure the uniform application of European human rights standards at national level. The training was organised within the framework of the Project “Strengthening the application of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Armenia”. The judicial servants improved their knowledge in preparing case summaries, in using HUDOC and other search and information tools; as well as developed skills in different Articles of ECHR.
