This is a self-evaluation and planning tool is designed to assist educational authorities, organisations and schools in assessing, identifying, and developing the culture of democratic citizenship and human rights education.
The tool applies to all levels: students, teachers and educational authorities. It is intended for long-term development in order to facilitate changes in culture and practice. It can be used, but also adapted and further developed, according to the requirements of individual countries. Authorities and schools are invited to develop the assessment questions to meaningfully reflect their own education systems and culture.
