Back Perception of the self and others

In this unit participants take part in a series of activities in which they discover how they perceive themselves and others. They are given the chance to discuss issues related to diversity of perspectives, identities and realities, as well as the methodological implications of working with these topics in the classroom. Practitioners who have a vast knowledge on these topics have a better chance of encouraging diversity appreciation among their students. Therefore, participants can make use of the knowledge gained through this unit and the presented activities to promote diversity and multiperspectivity in their own contexts.

The unit, developed within the Pestalozzi Programme, can be used at initial and in-service training of teachers in all levels of education.
