Back Experiencing Web 2.0 as learning and teaching tool

This resource provides the structure for a teacher training course which blends online and face to face work aimed at informing teachers about Web 2.0. The resource, developed within the Pestalozzi Programme, engages practitioners in discussing educational use of Web 2.0 tools in a practical way. Participants are introduced to different Web 2.0 tools and are motivated to collaborate and use one of them as a learning and educational tool.

An added value of the resource is the integration of human rights and other contemporary topics to promote responsible use of Web 2.0.  The resource creates the opportunity for cooperation as well as offering examples that can be used in class to widen perspectives and skills in the creation of a participatory, inclusive, communicative and safe learning environment. Although the course is focused on religious education, the training session can be adapted to other contexts and subject matters.
