This training resource focuses on an analysis of how media supports the creation of power hierarchies in a physical education lesson setting, and its influence on the participation of individuals in group activities. It also helps teachers in physical education to conceive inclusive and accessible lessons.

This resource helps teachers of physical education distinguish between traditional competition and constructive competition. It helps teachers to develop constructive competition activities as well as adapt existing activities according to the principles of cooperation, democracy and human rights. Furthermore, it helps participants develop their empathy skills and their personal learning strategies.

Teachers in physical education can use this training resource to align their lessons to the principles of democracy.
