The development of the quality guidelines for shelters for victims of VAW and DV in Kosovo* continues with discussions with the Council of Europe experts and key local authorities.

The experts presented the final draft of the quality guidelines for shelters, and discussions focused on how to translate the Istanbul Convention standards regarding services for victims of VAW and DV into the reality of Kosovo*. The project partners from Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and shelter representatives expressed their satisfaction with the developed quality guidelines and the commitment to their implementation.

The quality guidelines for shelters of VAW and DV are aimed to support local authorities and service providers to enhance their assistance to victims of violence and domestic violence in Kosovo*. They are part of the project ‘’Reinforcing the fight against violence against women and domestic violence in Kosovo* - Phase II”.
