 About the project

Intercultural Education is the keyword for defining Paola`s project. The lack of intercultural understanding leads to racial discrimination, intolerance, denigration and violence locally and globally. The aim of the project is to raise awareness about these issues among the participants. This will be achieved through several non-formal education activities such as workshops, discussion groups and role games.

Each activity will educate the participants on a different topic related to intercultural understanding, which will help participants to break down barriers that often lead to the non-inclusion of minority groups in our local community. The group should consist of around 15 young people aged between 12 and 15 years old. The project will take place in-person in Italy.

 About Paola

Paola is a member of Associazione Sud, which aims to raise awareness by educating people on cultural differences and supports initiatives that foster exchanges and training for youth. Associazione Sud projects include diverse topics: intercultural cooperation, justice, peace, and human rights, and Paola usually runs workshops in the field of intercultural education.
