"#0" allows you to find all documents existing in the catalogue. Combine it with other criteria to limit your search.

Example: #0 NOT {PBYR}>0 will display all documents without publication date (MARC field 260 Publication information).

How to do a search on an expression?

Insert your expression into apostrophes ('...') or separate the elements with the boolean operator ADJ. To do that search on a specific field add it into curly brackets.

Example: 'cultural capital'{520} or cultural ADJ capital {520} will do the search on that expression in the abstract field.

Search for documents with an electronic access

Combine the format "HTTP or PDF or Word" with an other limitating criteria such as the library, the year of publication, the subject, etc.

Example: (HTTP OR PDF) AND bioethics will display all documents on bioethics with an electronic access. 856 is the MARC electronic access field.

Search for a reference including a slash (/) followed by a chain of characters

If a reference contains a slash (/) followed by a chain of characters identic to a boolean operator use the inverted commas to indicate that that specific part is really a text and not a function.

Example: Instead of CM/Adj (51) 19 type CM "Adj"(51) 19 and the exact record is retrieved.
