The common search tool enables users to search the Council of Europe's main information repositories, i.e. its websites and the document and records management systems.

Searching for Digitised Archives (ArchivalWare)

The Archivalware tool is the access point to Central Archives' digital collections. It also contains audio recordings and image files, and an increasing collection of external documents. ArchivalWare can be accessed via WebCAT or directly.

Searching for Paper Archives (WebCAT)

The WebCAT tool contains several thousand bibliographic records of paper archives and publications, some of which include links to full texts. WebCAT is the collective online catalogue of Central Archives and some of the Council of Europe's libraries and information centres.
