This project focused on hate speech and included a training for 30 young people on the connection between hate speech and freedom of expression. The project provided the participants with an understanding of the nature of hate speech, and it will enhance their ability to confront it, as part of democratic discussions and civic participation. After the initial training course, participants run online campaigns. These follow-up campaigns, if successful, will encourage a reduction in hate speech amongst young people.
