The Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de la Valldigna is a former Cistercian Monastery founded in 1298 by Jaume II el Just, King of Aragon. The Jaume II el Just Foudation (est. 1999) is an organ of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Government of the Valencian Community. Its purpose is to recover, promote, put into use the historical heritage of Valencia, and particularly the Monastery of Santa Maria de la Valldigna.
