Fond-de-Gras was one of the most important Luxembourg mining sites until the 1960s. The Minett Park Fond-de-Gras is an open-air museum offering many complementary activities whose common thread is iron ore. It includes the Fond-de-Gras, the village of Lasauvage, the old open pit mine "Giele Botter" and the Celtic oppidum of the Tëtelbierg. In collaboration with the municipalities of Pétange and Differdange, the Minett Park Fond-de-Gras Association ensures the general coordination of the site (train journeys history, guided tours, rental), its cultural programme and public relations. The Minett Park is an Individual Site of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
