- Description
- The Michal Mine is a museum of coal mining located in a former coal mine opened in 1843. Nowadays the Museum offers a guided tour of the actual equipment of chain dressing rooms, guildhall, lamp house, pithead, access bridge from the lamp house and engine room with the original technical equipment.
The Michal Mine is a National Monument and administered by the National Heritage Institute of Czech Republic (Národní památkový ústav, NPÚ).
The Michal Mine is an Anchor Point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
