- Description
- The Alto Tejo Studies Association is a non-profit organisation founded in 1973 and legalised in May 1987. Its head office is in Vila Velha de Ródão and it operates in the municipalities of Castelo Branco, Idanha-a-Nova, Nisa, Oleiros, Proença-a-Nova and Vila Velha de Ródão.
AEAT regularly promotes activities of a diverse scope and nature, including studies in the fields of ethnography and anthropology, environmental and cultural awareness projects, the organisation of nature discovery and promotion initiatives, and the preparation of technical and scientific studies and opinions, especially in the fields of archaeological heritage.
