The Workshop was aimed at facilitating a policy discussion in the Czech Republic regarding the regulation of whistleblower protection. Representatives of government, academia and NGOs participated in discussions. Council of Europe experts Ms. Anna Myers and Mr. Francisco Cardona presented leading international practices for whistleblower protection as well as the most recent international and particularly Council of Europe standards in this area. The Workshop served as a starting point for another Project activity – the preparation of a concept for a Whistleblowers Center in the Czech Republic.
