Workshop on the presentation of the practitioner's manual on illicit enrichment

A workshop on the presentation of a manual of practitioners on detection, investigation and prosecution of illicit enrichment took place online on 26 February 2021. The activity brought together several stakeholders such as the Presidency of the Government, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of the Interior, the Court of Auditors, the control bodies, the Administrative Tribunal, as well as representatives of the Tunisian Anti-Corruption Authority (INLUCC).

The development of a manual of practitioners on illicit enrichment aims to provide the various public stakeholders with a reference document which explains the concepts relating to illicit enrichment and presents guidelines and methods of detection, investigation and prosecution related to the Tunisian context.

The workshop was an opportunity to present the developed version of the manual in order to collect comments and suggestions for improvement by the various stakeholders concerned, and to ensure that the document is in line with the needs of beneficiaries in terms of capacity building.

This activity was organised with the coordination of INLUCC and the support of the Tunisia Anti-corruption Project (TAC) within the framework of the joint programme “Project to support independent bodies in Tunisia” (PAII-T) financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the latter.
