Within the scope of the on-going Risk Assessment of the Palestinian Judiciary, on 10-11 February 2020 the South Neighbourhood Anti-Corruption Project organised bilateral meetings in Strasbourg with the representatives of the Palestinian High Judicial Council, Attorney General’s Office, the Constitutional Court as well as the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission . The purpose of the meetings was to discuss and verify the responses provided by the representatives of the Palestinian judiciary to the risk assessment questionnaires developed by the Project, and to present the preliminary findings of the assessment. The information gathered during these meetings will help the Project team to make a qualified and balanced analysis of corruption risks in the Palestinian judiciary, as well as to provide recommendations on risk mitigation measures.
