Over 30 representatives of government institutions of the Czech Republic, including representatives from the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Finance, the Financial Analytical Unit, as well as representatives of NGOs and other stakeholders attended the workshop on the “Publication of the results from the risk assessment and its recommendations”, which took place on 5 May 2015 in Prague.

The workshop provided a venue for discussing the findings of two technical papers which were jointly prepared by Council of Europe experts in cooperation with Czech specialists. The risk assessment covered two topics, an analysis of: “The legal and institutional framework regulating conflict of interest in the Czech Republic” and “Transparency of Beneficial Ownership Information for Corporate Entities and Trusts in the Czech Republic”. Both topics covered by the risk assessment were agreed with Czech authorities during a workshop which took place in Prague in October 2014.
