Back Experts discussed systemic problems affecting entrepreneurs’ rights

Some 80 participants discussed the systemic problems of entrepreneurship during a series of seminars held on 21-22 October 2015 in Moscow. The specific topic of each seminar was identified in coordination with the Experts’ Council of the Federal Business Ombudsman Office, and was introduced by a Council of Europe expert: “International Practice of Criminalisation/Decriminalisation of the Provocation of Bribes as Investigative Action and Conflict of Interest and the use of Official Power for Private Gains”; “Regulatory and Supervisory Authorities Responsible for Inspections and Control of Activities in the Economic Sphere”; “Liability of Legal Persons (Corporate Liability) for Criminal Offences of Corruption” and “Criminal law, procedures and practices concerning liability of entrepreneurs”. The seminars were carried out in an interactive way, providing participants with an opportunity to engage in the discussions, ask questions and give their comments.
