Following the delivery of the first expert opinion, as requested by the Montenegrin Minister of Interior, the Council of Europe (CoE) provided additional expert support to discuss the second (amended) version of the Draft Law on Preventing Conflict of Interests in Exercising Public Functions. The expert visit took place in Podgorica on 10 and 11 July 2008.

Technical Paper (restricted) containing comments on relevant articles of the draft amended law was subsequently delivered to the Working Group on 28 July 2008.
