The 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the joint EU/CoE project Strengthening the Coordination of anti-Corruption Policies and Practices in Turkey (TYSAP) was convened on 27 October 2014 in Ankara. The meeting was attended by high-level representatives of the main beneficiary and co-beneficiary institutions, Delegation of the European Union. The Steering Committee Meeting provided an opportunity to review progress made to date and to agree on priority activities for the remaining implementation period. Important items of the meeting included possible 5 months no-cost extension of the project, work on draft Investigation Guide for Inspectors and specific steps to implement IT procurement component of the project. The beneficiaries all concurred to the need for 5 months extension of the project. The project stakeholders also agreed to continue work on the draft Investigation Guide to ensure that it is in line with the CoE experts’ recommendations and European standards. At the meeting further steps were agreed on development of software for collection, sharing and analysing corruption data.
