Back 3rd Training on good governance practices and measures to prevent corruption in procurement process at municipal level

The PRECOP II project is organising a training on “Good governance practices and measures to prevent corruption in procurement process at municipal level in the Russian Federation” which will take place on 11-12 March 2019 in Yaroslavl, Russian Federation. This is the third activity in a series of trainings aimed at enhancing capacities of regional and municipal authorities dealing with procurement to prevent corruption in procurement process in line with applicable international standards and good practices.

The training will be a combination of presentations, classroom discussions and group work on practical exercises and case studies. It will allow participants to learn identifying typical corruption schemes and red flags in the procurement process and to explore efficient measures to prevent corruption based on international and Russian practices.

The training will be attended by representatives of the Regional Business Ombudspersons’ offices, regional and municipal authorities dealing with procurement from seven pilot regions of the project – Republic of Tatarstan, Republic of Karelia, Udmurt Republic, Republic of Karelia, Arkhangelsk and Tver regions, as well as the host region of Yaroslavl.
