Workshop on Advancing the Internal Regulation of the Supreme Court of Justice

The Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) held a workshop to advance the drafting of the Court’s Internal Regulation. Judges and members of the Secretariat worked together to refine the internal governance model, engaging in detailed discussions on processes, responsibilities, and coordination mechanisms.

The Internal Regulation is a cornerstone of the institutional reform carried out under Law No. 64 on the Supreme Court of Justice. As one of the key governance documents shaping the Court’s renewed institutional architecture, it is essential for ensuring modern internal management, transparent procedures, and strengthened organisational performance.

The workshop made it possible to align the drafting process of the Internal Regulation with both the Court’s strategic objectives and its practical working methods. Participants noted that this workshop was both necessary and challenging, reflecting the complexity of developing a comprehensive and functional internal governance framework.

This activity was organised within the framework of the Council of Europe Project “Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of Moldova.”
