On 29 April 2024, the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting of the Joint Project of the European Union and the Council of Europe “Support to the Justice Reform in the Republic of Moldova” was held. Besides the representatives of the Council of Europe and the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova, officials of the Project beneficiaries and members of the Steering Committee – the Ministry of Justice, the Superior Council of Magistracy, the Superior Council of Prosecutors, the National Institute of Justice, and the Constitutional Court – participated in the meeting. International development partners and civil society organisations working in the justice field were also present as observers.

During the Steering Committee Meeting, achievements as well as challenges for the first year of the Project implementation were discussed. Additionally, Steering Committee Members agreed on the Project Work Plan for the second year of implementation for the period June 2024 – May 2025.

The event was organised within the framework of the Joint Project of the European Union and Council of Europe "Support to the Justice Reform in the Republic of Moldova".
