Promoting Access to Employment for People with Disabilities

The Council of Europe project "Enhancing employment rights in the Republic of Moldova”, in partnership with the National Employment Agency (NEA), developed and published an informative leaflet on employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The leaflet  was published in Romanian and Russian versions, as well as in Braille format.

The leaflet outlines the range of employment services, vocational training opportunities, and subsidy programmes available to persons with disabilities, as well as to employers committed to inclusive recruitment practices. It also highlights practical measures such as career guidance, job mediation, vocational rehabilitation, and financial incentives, all aimed at promoting equal access to decent work and full participation in society.

The action is part of the projects’ mission to facilitate the access of people from vulnerable groups, including NEET Youth, to vocational education and training and to promote their effective and sustainable integration into the labour market and society.

The resource is available online in Romanian and Russian versions.

This leaflet was developed within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for the Republic of Moldova 2021-2024, and the project "Enhancing Employment Rights in the Republic of Moldova" which is co-funded by the Austrian Development Agency and the Council of Europe”
