The events provided comprehensive information and useful advice on fulfilling obligations to declare assets, managing conflicts of interest, complying with the legal regime of incompatibilities, respecting hierarchical constraints, and respecting advertising limits. The participants discussed the applicability of the national legal and regulatory framework as well as international standards and good comparative practices.
These events also provided an efficient platform for presenting and disseminating the Guide on Integrity Rules for Public Servants with Special Status of the Republic of Moldova, covering selected integrity tools for this sector as well as practical examples for improving integrity compliance. The Guide was developed in collaboration with the National Integrity Authority.
This initiative is a follow-up activity to the training sessions held in July, 2024, for the representatives of Ministry of Internal Affairs and the subordinated institutions.
This support is provided within the framework of the project “Action against Corruption in the Republic of Moldova (Phase 2)”, funded by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the US Department of State and implemented by the Council of Europe.
