The workshop, conducted by videoconference on 23 May 2025, focused on the current applicability of the information system containing judicial statistics JUSTAT and on further development of this tool, taking into consideration the needs and the priorities of the judiciary, with a view to align it to the amended judicial map, to enhance visualisation and better adapt to user needs.

An essential aspect is the integration of JUSTAT in the National Digital System of the Judiciary and its interoperability with the Integrated Case Management System to ensure the tool’s sustainability. Two new dashboards with KPIs on the organisation of the court system and the human resources of the courts will be added in the upcoming period.

A better collection of data regarding the judiciary shall facilitate its analysis and reporting at court management level and support an informed decision-making. 

The workshop allowed consultations with the participation of an international expert, representatives of the CEPEJ, and national partners, including the Superior Council of Magistracy, the Agency for Justice Digitalisation and Judicial Administration, judges, court presidents and staff, as well as civil society representatives.

This activity was organised within the framework of the Project “Support to further modernisation of court management in the Republic of Moldova”, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance.
