Back Outcome of the 5th CAHAI Plenary meeting

On 5-7 July the Council of Europe’s Ad hoc Committee on Artificial Intelligence (CAHAI) met online to discuss progress in its work on the identification of the main elements of a legal framework on the design, development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) based on the Council of Europe’s standards.

At this 5th CAHAI plenary meeting, the main findings of the multi-stakeholder consultation on a legal framework for the design, development and application of artificial intelligence based on Council of Europe’s standards were discussed. The CAHAI took note of the report on the consultation and instructed the Working Group on Legal Frameworks (CAHAI-LFG) and the Working Group on Policy Development (CAHAI-PDG) to take the results into account in their respective work.
