Επιστροφή Development of a migrant forum supported by the Irish office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM)

Starting from June 2021, the Dublin City Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has been collaborating with the Irish office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to establish a Dublin Migrants Forum.

The Forum will provide precious supervision of the implementation of the strategic plan using the indicators and governance tools on the issue of immigration made available by IOM. The Forum will also represent a useful resource for evaluating the actions included in the strategic plan. Development of a new policy on antisocial behaviours The City of Dublin has developed a new strategy to fight antisocial behaviours, in which racism is considered a crime for the first time. The strategy will be published and delivered to all estate owners and residents of the municipality. A draft of the policy is now open to public consultation and has been published on the municipality web portal dedicated to consultations.

This good practice has been drafted in connection with the project ITACA - Italian Cities Against Discrimination (n. 963374), co-funded by the REC Programme of the European Commission and implemented by ICEI together with the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, the Municipality of Modena, Mondinsieme Foundation and ISMU Foundation.
