ICC-UA is a network of Ukrainian cities with an established tradition of joint collaboration in the implementation of the intercultural approach set out in Recommendation CM/Rec(2015)1 on Intercultural integration. They apply the intercultural approach in their urban setting as a means of leveraging the benefits of diversity. Created in 2015, following the pan-Ukrainian Melitopol Forum, the ICC-UA today comprises six cities that cover geographically the whole territory of Ukraine.

Since the establishment of the Network, member cities have taken a strategic approach to the implementation of the urban model of intercultural integration in their communities. Using a participatory approach, all Ukrainian ICC cities have designed and formally adopted their ICC Strategy as a separate document or as an integral part of the broader municipal strategy.
