Aberdulais Tinworks and Waterfall is an industrial heritage site whose water was exploited for the first time in the 16th century to smelt copper. Aberdulais became an industrial centre where cutting edge technologies were used to bend the environment to tin production needs.
The site of Aberdulais Tin Works and Waterfall is owned and administered by the National Trust.
The National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty (National Trust, est. 1895) is an independent charity for environmental and heritage conservation for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
