A workshop 'Good Practices for Prevention of Corruption in Public Administration and Tools for Strengthening the Law Enforcement Agencies' took place in Moscow, Russian Federation, on 5 and 6 October 2011. The workshop was organised under 2011 Programme of Co-operation between the Council of Europe and the Russian Federation for the Chechen Republic. It brought together the Council of Europe representatives and experts and the law enforcement agents, representatives of the federal and local administrative entities and NGOs from the Chechen Republic. The aim of the workshop was to raise awareness on relevant international standards and practices in preventing and combating economic crime.
