Training on “Dealing with Individual Cases in Line with the Best European Practices”

A two 3-day skills oriented trainings on “Dealing with Individual Cases in Line with the Best European Practices” have been conducted on 12 – 17 November for Public Defender’s Office of Georgia (PDO) within the CoE assistance programme on strengthening capacity of PDO staff.

As a part of this process a training curriculum on “Dealing with Individual Cases in line with the best European practices” was developed with CoE technical assistance. As a result, PDO staff advanced skills to identify hidden cases of intolerance, violations of the human rights of vulnerable persons or cases of ill-treatment; monitor, handle complaints and interviewing techniques.

The training was organized within the framework of the Project “Improving the Operational Capacities of Public Defender’s Office of Georgia”
