The report of the International Advisory Panel on Ukraine (IAP) on its review of the investigations into the violent incidents during the Maidan demonstrations will be presented at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday 31 March.
The report will be presented by three members of the IAP: Sir Nicolas Bratza, Chair and former President of the European Court of Human Rights; Volodymyr Butkevych, former Judge of the European Court of Human Rights; and Oleg Anpilogov, a former prosecutor in Ukraine.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Special Advisor of the Council of Europe Secretary General for Ukraine, Christos Giakoumopoulos, will also take part.
The press conference will take place at 11 a.m. local time on Tuesday 31 March, at the Ukrinform Press Centre (8/16 Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street, Kyiv). Languages: English and Ukrainian.

Background:
The International Advisory Panel was constituted by the Secretary General of the Council of Europe to oversee that the investigations into the violent incidents which took place in Ukraine from 30 November 2013 to 21 February 2014 met all the requirements of the European Convention on Human Rights and the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights. The Panel operates in accordance with its mandate.
