On 26 – 27 April 2017, the Council of Europe will organise a study visit to the Metropolitan Police Service in London for representatives of the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

The participants will get first-hand information on the institutional and organisational arrangements, as well as examples of good practices and lessons learnt in anti-corruption work and investigations from the Metropolitan Police Service and the Serious Fraud Office. The two-day programme will cover a range of topics, such as integrity testing, intelligence function and covert human intelligence sources in anti-corruption work, investigation of serious fraud, corruption as well as financial investigations.

The study visit represents one of the measures targeted at supporting NABU’s efforts in strengthening internal control structures provided through the framework of the Council of Europe and the European Union Partnership for Good Governance Project “Fight Against Corruption in Ukraine”.
