"Solutions Exist!" was developed in Ukraine in 2023–2024 in response to requests from national and local partners of the Council of Europe project "Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III", amid the Russian Federation's war of aggression against the country. The views of young people, as well as the provisions of the European Charter on the Participation of Young People in Local and Regional Life, were fundamental to the development of this educational tool.
In response to challenges faced by young people, their needs, and the revised content of the European Charter on the Participation of Young People in Local and Regional Life, we invite you to help update the board game “Solutions Exist!” with your own experiences.

About the Game: "Solutions Exist!"
This game allows participants to explore, in a hands-on way, policies that affect young people and ways to strengthen them. It examines barriers that may hinder youth participation, as well as the conditions and circumstances that can help to overcome these barriers. The game also explores various forms of youth participation.
Players are encouraged to share their own experiences and ideas for strengthening youth participation at the local level. “Solutions Exist!” is used in trainings and forums, seminars and advanced courses, civil society organisations, youth centres, and educational institutions both in Ukraine and abroad.
The game can be used by youth workers, educators, and trainers in public organisations, youth centres, youth spaces, and youth councils during specialised trainings on youth participation, civic education lessons, or even in their free time. This board game can spark discussions with young people about their participation and the opportunities available to them, both locally and nationally.
