Inclusive education
Guided by its core values – human rights, democracy and the rule of law – the Council of Europe supports inclusive education in view of fostering equality, respect for diversity, student participation and a welcoming and enabling school environment.
Within the framework of the EU/CoE joint project “Combating Anti-LGBTIQ Violence and Hate Speech, and Strengthening Awareness and Fact-based Narratives about LGBTIQ People.”, the Council of Europe SOGIESC Unit, in collaboration with IGLYO, the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) Youth and Student Organisation is developing a new Inclusive Education Toolkit, composed of three tools.
