A delegation of the Committee of Experts is visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina from 3 to 7 November 2025 to evaluate progress made in the protection and promotion of regional and minority languages. The delegation is meeting with the representatives of the regional or minority languages speakers and the competent authorities in several municipalities. The visit also includes meetings with representatives of the Government and relevant authorities at different levels.

This is the fourth monitoring visit of the Committee of Experts in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Following this visit, the Committee will draw up its evaluation report on the implementation of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages in Bosnia and Herzegovina, containing specific findings and recommendations for follow-up. The report is expected to be published in 2026.
