Since 2021, Eurimages has been committed to supporting a more responsible film industry.

Eurimages recognises its responsibility towards future generations in terms of sustainable development, given the undeniable environmental impact of international co-productions.

Eurimages is firmly convinced that international cooperation is a cornerstone in addressing the challenges posed by climate change and is therefore committed to its responsibility as a platform for encouraging the film industry in its member countries to become more environmentally responsible.

In 2021, the Eurimages Board of Management set up a Sustainability Study Group, which developed a strategy and action plan to help the Fund meet these challenges while continuing to support high-quality projects with an international scope.
