Deputy Secretary General Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni has held a meeting in Strasbourg with Ms Anna Maria Corazza Bildt, European Parliament rapporteur on EU accession to the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, to discuss the difficulties encountered with the accession process and the shared interest in promoting the convention and possible activities to that end. In particular, the Deputy Secretary General gave the rapporteur a copy of the “Questions and answers” brochure drawn up to end misconceptions about the convention.
