Joint activity with Venice Commission on the status of the new Tunisian anti-corruption Agency, 18-19 December 2014 in Tunis (Tunisia)

In the framework of technical assistance for the National Anti-Corruption Authority (INLUCC) and in cooperation with the Venice Commission, a working seminar on independent constitutional bodies was organized in Gammarth on 18 And 19 December 2014. The seminar, attended by 22 participants, was opened by Mr Samir Annabi, President of INLUCC and Mrs Regina Kiener, Member of the Venice Commission.

Mr Richard Martinez, an expert from the Council of Europe, presented his work to prepare the status of the Forum on Good Governance and the Fight against Corruption. This new independent authority must be established in accordance with Article 130 of the Constitution of 26 January 2014. At the end of the seminar, the representatives of the various national authorities and agencies adopted a list of references common to all bodies. They also decided to keep themselves informed of the progress of their respective legislative work.
