In Modules 4 and 5 you looked at the eleven intercultural competences that comprise the AIE's theoretical framework and you saw how these are drawn on in the questions and prompts of the AIE's nine sections. We pointed out that, when people fill in the AIE, they may do so in a flexible manner and you must be able to analyse the intercultural learning that is evident in reflecting on the encounter accordingly.

How you can consolidate and extend this learning is the focus of Module 6.
