On 28 September, the Department for the Execution of Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (DEJ) held an online technical meeting with the Greek authorities on the execution of the Micha and Others group of cases concerning the non-enforcement of domestic decisions related to urban expropriations.
The meeting brought together representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the Region of Attica, the Decentralised Administration of Attica and the Municipality of Ayia Paraskevi. The meeting was organised with the support of the State Legal Council and the Permanent Representation of Greece to the Council of Europe.
This exchange provided an opportunity to engage in a detailed technical discussion on the issues related to the execution of the cases within the Micha and Others group, both regarding individual and general measures, ahead of the first examination of this group by the Committee of Ministers in December 2026.
