The Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA) is pleased to welcome the Netherlands as a new member State.
On 6 May 2025, Mr. Eppo BRUINS, Minister of Education, Culture and Science of the Netherlands, informed Mr. Alain BERSET, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, of the decision by the Netherlands to join the EPA.
The Netherlands is the 42nd member State of the EPA, as of 6 May 2025.
The Netherlands is crossed by 12 Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: the Santiago de Compostela Pilgrim Routes, The Hansa, Viking Routes, the Saint Martin of Tours Route, the European Cemetries Route, the European Route of Ceramics, the European Route of Megaltihic Culture, the European Routes of Emperor Charles V, Impressionisms Routes, the European Route of Industrial Heritage, Liberation Route Europe, and the European Route d’Artagnan.
